"Brent and Harrow Trading Standard Services will not tolerate those who persistently plague the market with counterfeit goods.
"My officers will now investigate all of the stalls caught selling the fake goods and will seek to prosecute not just those who turn up at the market to sell the goods, but also the professional network of criminal perpetrators who are involved further up the supply chain."
Sergeant Pete Goodchild from Tokyngton Safer Neighbourhoods Team said: "The value of the goods is quite amazing and it means a large amount of money has now being diverted away from criminal activity. We plan to conduct more of these operations in the near future.

Warm winter adds to retailers' post-holiday blues
Unseasonably warm weather across the United States forced many retailers to offer deeper-than-usual discounts to clear out coats, sweaters and boots in January, pointing to tepid sales in the typically slow post-holiday month.

"It's apparel that's hit the most," said Bernhardt, who expects outerwear sales to have dropped 20 to 30 percent in January.

January represents the smallest sales month of the year, and is mostly dedicated to clearance of carryover holiday goods, prompting many analysts to downplay the effect it will have on the consumer-driven U.S. economy.
"With weather still unfavorable and mall traffic weaker in January, we see retailers leaning on aggressive promotions to liquidate seasonal product," Goldman analyst Michelle Tan said.
Also, same-store sales reports capture only part of the retail economy. Wal-Mart Stores Inc and other major retailers such as Best Buy Co Inc and Amazon.com do not report monthly sales.
Deutsche Bank analyst Charles Grom said January only drives about 4 to 6 percent of annual sales. He is betting that warehouse club Costco Wholesale Corp and off-price chain Big Lots Inc will be among the winners.
"We believe the usual suspects at Costco - traffic, California, fresh foods, and International - continue to play out nicely," Grom said.
While many analysts expect Costco and luxury chain stores Nordstrom Inc and Saks Inc to have done well in January, they are not so optimistic about sales of middle-market chain Gap Inc and others that did not react fast enough to the changes in consumer behavior and the weather.
"The retailer (Gap) struggles to retain customer attention amidst regular fashion and design misses, particularly in the key women's business," Wedbush analyst Betty Chen said.

"The winners in January were the players who began the month in solid inventory position, used the first week to clear out goods and aggressively rolled out new Spring items early to catch warmer weather and fashion driven traffic," Brean Murray analyst Eric Beder said.

Chabad at Mont-Tremblant moves to new home
Mont-Tremblant is known worldwide as a ski centre and après-ski hot spot, but this famous Laurentian Mountain resort is actually a popular holiday destination year-round.
The rolling mountains and picturesque lakes and rivers provide an ideal setting for summer activities such as cycling, hiking, golfing and canoeing.
About 90 minutes north of Montreal, the resort village, with its many hotels, spas, boutiques and dazzling mountain-top casino, caters to international tourists that include Jewish visitors from around the world.
It's not uncommon to see some of them attending Shabbat services and holiday celebrations at Chabad of Mont-Tremblant (819-681-0337),goodhermesbirkinbesthandbags a Jewish centre, which used to be housed in a condo in the resort. The centre recently relocated to 110 Chemin Desmarais, which is a two-minute walk from a ski hill.
Rabbi Yisroel Mockin and his wife, Liba, who have been running Chabad of Mont-Tremblant since its inception six years ago, say they are thrilled with the centre's new home and very appreciative of the generosity of their supporters.
"People have opened their wallets," she says "It's been overwhelming.
"Like most Chabad centres, we are not funded by Chabad headquarters. We have to do our own fundraising."
According to Rabbi Mockin, it was a challenge to find a new home within walking distance of the resort. "We found a humble house on a humongous property. It's 1.3 acres."
The resort did not permit display signs for the centre, he says. "Now we can have a sign and be more visible."
He explains that many people made a serendipitous discovery of the centre on the ski hill when they noticed him, his wife and their seven-year old son, Mendel, wearing jackets with Chabad Tremblant printed on the back. "We're a skiing family. The jackets helped direct people to the centre."
He acknowledges that having the shul in the resort village was very convenient. "People could ski in and ski out. It was an incredible location."
But, ultimately, it was hard to accommodate all the visitors in the cramped quarters of the two-bedroom unit. "It was very tight. We were bumper to bumper."
"It was a wonderful atmosphere, cosmeticbagfactory" adds the rebbetzin. "It was very international and very heimish. Every weekend we would have a new community."
Rabbi Mockin says her cooking has always been a big draw. "The kiddush my wife puts out is unheard of."
He describes the centre as a meeting place for Jews from different communities. "People come to Tremblant from all over – New York, Israel, Mexico, England…
"When people go on holiday, they're more relaxed and more open to meeting people."
The centre has also become a place for networking, he says. "I've experienced people making business connections."
And younger people are also connecting he says. "We've had teenagers meet at Chabad, and they stay in touch through Facebook."
The centre also attracts Jews of diverse religious backgrounds – from people who attend shul weekly to those who are non-observant, he continues. "We've had people coming to shul on vacation who don't normally go to shul when they're not on vacation."
Chabad tries to help families staying in the condo units "create a home away from home," he says, pointing out that kosher food can be ordered through their website at www.chabadtremblant.com. It also has details of hotel discounts through Chabad.
The centre is the brainchild of Rabbi Mockin, a member of the Chabad community in midtown Montreal.
He was running a summer camp for some 400 boys just north of Tremblant when he came up with the idea of setting up a Chabad centre at the resort.replicahandbagscheapchaneljewellery He was encouraged to proceed by his father, Rabbi Berel Mockin, head emissary of the Lubavitcher Rebbe in Quebec.
The Mockins – they also have a 20-year-old son, Peretz, and an 18-year-old daughter, Chaya – divide their time between Montreal and Mont-Tremblant.
The couple had a busy winter holiday season because this year Chanukah overlapped with Christmas.
"On the years when the two holidays coincide, we've always had a bigger bash," says the rabbi.

Saga of the Cheese
There once was a bag of cheese curds that was destined for more than a hungry man's snack.
That bag of cheese curds used to be an ordinary bag of cheese curds settled amongst its friends in a grocery store's refrigerated dairy case. It had a life of ease only disturbed when a distracted shopper's fingers ran across its label on the way to the more popular sharp white cheddars.
It was just chillin', knowing that nobody in their right mind would choose cheese curds over sharp white cheddar.
All that would change, however, the day my husband strolled into that store with an insane craving for – you guessed it – cheese curds.
The sharp white cheddar winced as my husband's hand hovered over it momentarily. Then it sighed in relief and smiled knowingly inside its shiny wrapper as my husband chose the unsuspecting cheese curds.
The sharp white cheddar thought it knew what would occur after the bag of cheese curds passed through the scanner at checkout, but, in truth, it couldn't possibly have foreseen the unbelievable circumstances in which the cheese curds found themselves.
We were on vacation… in the Northeast… in the winter. Why? Obviously, because we needed our heads examined. This particular day the high was 14 degrees. Let me reiterate: The HIGH was 14 stinkin' degrees!
We had a long drive ahead of us and of course, we needed snacks for the road. I bought chewing gum and cookies and my husband bought the soon-to-be infamous cheese curds.
After driving an hour or so in blinding snow showers, sexylingerie with the heat blasting in the mini-van, the cheese curds turned soft. My husband doesn't like warm cheese curds.leatherhandbags
"We should've brought a cooler.' he said.
I was driving at the time and peering through the falling snow, I said, "Or we could just throw them on the hood of the car and let them fend for themselves. It looks like hell has finally frozen over.'
I'm sure I saw the cheese curds grimace.
"I have a better idea,' my genius of a hubby said. He let a blast of arctic air in as he opened his passenger-side window, put the bag of cheese curds outside, and closed the window on the bag.guccihandbags He had effectively found a safe place to cool his cheese curds.goodchloehandbags We grinned at each other, enjoying his cleverness.
I was still driving forty-five minutes later, when my gum went stale and the cookies started to look good. With my eyes carefully glued to the slippery road, christiandiorreplicahandbags I opened my window to dispose of my gum.
It certainly was not my fault that the manufacturer of our minivan placed the buttons for both windows side by side.
Suddenly, the bag of cheese curds went airborne and its subsequent journey after that can only be determined in one's imagination.
My husband jerked his head from the cheese curds - which were there one minute and vanished the next - to me with a stunned expression that reminded me of Desi Arnez when Lucy did something remarkably stupid. He was speechless with shock. His cheese curds were gone!
Unfortunately, my imagination started imagining immediately and all I could do is laugh hysterically at his stunned expression while simultaneously trying to apologize and keep the minivan from sliding off the road.
I sobered as I imagined the news that evening: "There was a twenty car pile-up on the interstate this afternoon. Fortunately, there were no injuries. Police could not say for certain what caused the disaster, but drivers reported large, sticky snowflakes that fused with their wipers and became one with the windshield."

Ageing with attitude
At the age of 90, New York socialite and stylista Iris Apfel is the face of MAC cosmetics' latest makeup line. Bold red lips and nails are a focus of the campaign, for which she poses in her own clothes and accessories, arms laden with ethnic bangles and eyes framed by her trademark owl-like spectacles.

Beginner's guide to Melbourne Cup
Monday afternoon and the millinery departments at Myer and David Jones in Melbourne's CBD are swarming with last- minute shoppers searching desperately for that perfect fascinator. (Thankfully, I'm not one of them: my borrowed but very beautiful headwear has accompanied me across the Tasman and is sitting safely in my hotel room.) For Melbourne Cup 2011 feathers are out and straw is in. (For the seriously fashionable it's perspex).
Downstairs at the back of Myer, the Benefits brow bar is working its way through the queues of women - me included - lining up for false eyelashes and brow shaping. My new lashes cost about $30 - money well spent. They're one of race week's must-have accessories.
Race tip: Myer and David Jones open early on the morning of the race for last-minute shopping and professional makeup application.
THE WARMUP
It's the night before the Melbourne Cup and Mumm's the word at Southbank restaurant The Ludlow Formation, with the rare opportunity to perform "sabrage", the art of taking the top off a bottle of champagne with a sword.
We buy a bottle, a sommelier is on hand to show me how, then he hands me the sword. On the second swing the blade connects with bottle and the cork, complete with foil, wire enclosure and the top few centimetres of the bottle, plop on to the floor.Find deals on wholesalereplicahandbags at great prices. It's quickly bundled up and popped into a red velvet bag - a great souvenir. Sure, there are easier ways to get the cork out of a bottle of Mumm but if you've ever been tempted to give it a go, this is the time.
Race tip: Look out for bars and restaurants offering Melbourne Cup specials on drinks and food.
HATS OFF
Thanks to my Cup preparations, I now know the difference between a hat, a fascinator and a headpiece. I also know it's important to work out your mode of transport before you decide on a particularly lofty headpiece.
On Cup morning, in my best frock and newest heels, I get into the car. But I can't - my gorgeous, sculptural and foot-high Natalie Chan headpiece renders me unable to sit upright. I make the journey to Flemington on a 45 degree angle and wonder if taking the bus might've been easier.
Race tip: Don't be timid when it comes to your race-day headwear - bigger and bolder really is best. New Zealand milliners such as Auckland's Natalie Chan offer a plethora of gorgeous choices, ranging from clip-on rosettes from about $40 a pop to eye- catching scene-stealers in the hundreds.
FASHION IN THE FIELD
There are feathers, fascinators, florals and gorgeous fashions, especially in hot pinks and reds.
And that's just the blokes. The glorious roses lining the entrance to Flemington don't stand a chance against what's on show here today. We're at the track not long after 10am and already the queues of entrants are forming for the Fashions on the Field competition.Buy China real monclercoat from China , There are seriously beautiful clothes for this most serious of competitions, on which reputations of the city's designers and milliners are at stake.
One of the judges, in a rather amazing high-fashion combination of turquoise, yellows and reds, is followed throughout the day by a companion whose job appears to consist only of holding his boss' Louis Vuitton handbag. Speaking of bags, you want one that's just large enough to fit a form guide, lipstick, sunglasses, Party Feet, cash,We need the Department of promotionalbagfactory green to decorate our line of sight. credit and your hotel key - and no more.
Race tip: No matter how well- dressed you think you are, prepare to be upstaged and humbled at every turn - by men as well as women. But that's no reason not to make an effort.
MARQUEE MUSIC
Good connections are all important in racing. This is how - thanks to my very well-connected date - I find myself watching a woman in a white leotard do really quite impossibly bendy things with her body while hanging on a red sash from the roof of La Maison GH Mumm, the marquee of the Cup's champagne sponsor Mumm. Here we eat sublime food by Sydney chef Guillaume Braimi, sip sensibly on fizz (it's a long day after all), witness a parade of Aussie celebrities and French champagne royalty pass before us and, in- between this feast of premium people-watching, place our bets.
Over the first six races our kitty of $100 ebbs and flows but for Race 7, the one that stops the nation, we're on our own.
I'm one of those gamblers whose heart rules their head - and can't understand a form guide - so I put $5 each way on a horse whose name has a sentimental connection. Later, after the closest finish in Cup history, Dunaden (it sounded like Dunedin) won. I won about $60 but it felt like I'd won thousands.
Race tip: Even if you can't see the horses cross the finish line, get as close as you can anyway. The sound of hooves on turf is incredible.Buy Iwc schaffhausen iwc from laptopbagfactory. Then watch the repeat on a big screen. As for betting, set yourself a limit for what you're prepared to gamble and add 20 per cent. Then stop.
THE GREAT LEVELLER
Beyond the corporate marquee area, aka The Birdcage, and out in the public areas it's one big party.
In The Age newspaper that morning, I'd read a column by Rob Hulls, a former Australian racing minister, headlined "The race that stops a nation also embodies the best about us".
He wrote: "More than anything . . . I think Australians love racing because we've brought our own strain of egalitarianism to it. Yes, there are frocks and fascinators; yes, there are enormous amounts of money involved but, just like our other great sporting events, the Melbourne Cup is a great leveller - the day when celebrity and suburbia come together in an unashamed tribute to frivolity."

But everyone is happy. How couldn't you be? The hype, the history and yes, the horses, it's a truly brilliant day.

Blue sky thinking
Across the Tasman,See the top leatherhandbags from the best brands in the industry. even Sydney and Melbourne have had more rain than these traditionally sunny cities are used to.
If there's one place you can rely on for good weather, according to almost everyone I meet while there, it's Western Australia's Margaret River region.
Situated amidst the rolling hills of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge, between Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin, with the mighty Indian Ocean to the west, Margaret River boasts sunshine, blue skies, temperatures in the 30s, gentle sea breezes, no humidity and modest rainfall between October and April.
Kiwis: imagine, if you will, getting up in the morning and deciding what to wear, knowing it will be appropriate all day.Our sexylingerie look, work and feel exactly like the originals, No need to pack an umbrella in your already bulging handbag. No use for the jacket under your arm.
Consistency - it's a word seldom heard in New Zealand's weather vocabulary. In Margaret River, it comes as standard.
There's another benefit to this constant climate. Like California's Napa Valley and France's Bordeaux, Margaret River is blessed with the perfect conditions to grow great grapes.
The region produces only 3 per cent of Australia's total grape yield, but about 20 per cent of its premium wines. The first winery in the region was Vasse Felix in 1967. Now, there are about 110 producers in Margaret River, many of them showcasing local goods in fantastic restaurants.
Sunshine, surf, top-quality wines, gourmet foods and talented chefs - Margaret River is pretty much paradise.
With so much variety in the region, the best way to sample it all is with a tour. Self- drive is an option, but then you would have to fight it out with your travelling companions over who gets the unenviable role of sober driver.
What a waste it would be to pass up Margaret River's wines. Many operators offer minivan wine tours, but the idea of visiting multiple cellar doors and downing as much as you can in over half a day doesn't appeal to everyone.
There is an alternative. Sean Blocksidge, owner operator of The Margaret River Discovery Co, describes his itineraries as "the tour for people who don't do tours". In his Land Rover Discovery 4WD, Blocksidge will take a maximum of six guests on his gourmet eco trips, which include a "best of the best" wine tour, sunset canoe tour and private itineraries tailored to specific needs. You can find all the guccihandbags you need here.
I'm taking the Margaret River Discovery Tour with a pick-up from the visitors centre in Margaret River's township.
It's not long before we're in our comfortable seats and on the road, and it's not long after that when Sean swings off-road onto a dirt track through the Leeuwin- Naturaliste National Park, down to a calm, quiet spot on the banks of Margaret River itself.
We're setting out for a short canoe trip and after a quick safety talk and steering instructions, we're off. We divide between two canoes,I had to say that the news of goodchloehandbags promotion. and gently paddle our way along the still, khaki-green waters of the river.
It's so peaceful - the only other people around are a dad and his children enjoying splashing into the water from a rope swing attached to one of the towering jarrah trees, and three young boys, who proudly show off their catch of still wriggling marron, a West Australian species of crayfish. What a way to spend your summer holidays, I think, and I feel even sorrier for all those Kiwi families who spent the start of summer cowering under sodden canvas.
After about an hour on the river, we pile back into the 4WD and Sean drives back into town, stopping at the delectable cafe and delicatessen, Blue Ginger Fine Foods, for lunch supplies.
While he fills up his "esky", I take a look at the huge range of gourmet local and imported products and can't help but buy some to take home.
We drive through the small beachside town of Prevelly, passing areas badly affected by November's bush fires. Although the damage was terrible, no-one was hurt, thanks to forced evacuations, a lesson learnt after Victoria's 2009 Black Saturday fires, which killed 173 people.
Although the perception, even across Australia, is that much of Margaret River was wiped out in the recent fires, Sean points out that only 1 per cent of the region was affected. The sight of burnt scrub and blackened trees is still sobering.
The thoughtful mood continues when Sean takes us to a waterhole believed to have been home to indigenous communities more than 30,000 years ago.
He says some groups find the spot overwhelmingly spiritual, while others don't understand the significance. To try to make the waterhole's history hit home, he gets out a plastic container full of 20-cent coins. Taking one coin out of the box, he likens it to the last 200 years. Pointing at the still full box, he says "this represents the last 30,000 years".
It's an innovative way to put Australia's vast Aboriginal history into perspective and something I have thought about many times since.
Another special moment comes with lunch. Punching a security code into the entry box at the imposing gates of Fraser Gallop Estate, Sean travels up the winery's long driveway and sets up lunch in the air-conditioned cool of the barrel room.
This winery has no cellar door and is normally not open to the public, but Sean, who worked in the wine industry, has connections.
The goodies he bought from Blue Ginger are all delicious - olives, pates, meats, bread, cheese and dips - and are washed down nicely with some samples of Fraser Gallop's award-winning wines, including one yet to be released to the market.
The estate's winemaker, Clive Otto, was born in Tanzania but grew up in Auckland. Despite calling Margaret River home, he says he's a Kiwi "through and through".
His first winery job was at Gisborne's Matawhero. He worked the 2006 vintage at Central Otago's Amisfield, but most of his winemaking years have been in the Margaret River, where, he says, he moved for the surf and laid-back lifestyle.
Otto's trophy haul includes 134 gold medals, 160 silvers and 302 bronzes, plus 70 trophies at local, national and international events.
He was Winestate Magazine's 2005 Australian Winemaker of the Year and Fraser Gallop's 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon - Otto's first hands-on vintage for the estate - won the best Bordeaux blend over [PndStlg]10 trophy at the Decanter World Wine Awards in London, beating wines from South Africa, Chile, New Zealand and Bordeaux, but you would never know any of this from talking to Otto.

ACOVSD has protocol for dealing with bed bugs
The Adams County/Ohio Valley School District's protocol for bed bugs found on a student or student belongings is as follows:
According to the Central Ohio Bed Bug Task Force, bed bugs do not spread disease. Students should not be excluded from school due to bed bugs. If a suspected bed bug is found on a student or their belongings, the school nurse,Buy cheap high quality parkajackets Watches, school principal or principal designee should privately and with dignity, follow these guidelines:
1. Discreetly remove the child from the classroom so the school nurse or a qualified individual can perform an inspection of the child's clothing and other belongings (including but not limited to: shoes, jackets, hats, books, backpacks, school supplies, etc.).Our goodhermesbirkin are the highest quality and most durable replicas available . Place any of the child's unneeded items, such as book bogs, into a large plastic bag and tightly seal the bag. If the school has a washer or dryer available, the school may wish to wash and dry the clothing on the high heat setting. Please take measures so you do not call undue attention to any child.
2. Check areas where the student sits or affected belongings may be placed for extended periods of time (cubbies, lockers). Bed bugs are excellent hitchhikers, and though they only feed on humans and rapidly retreat, they can be found in many locations.
3. Try to collect the specimen(s) using a tissue, a piece of gauze, or scotch tape. Try not to crush the bugs. Multiple specimens can be very helpful in identification of the insect.,chloehandbag at discounted prices including IWC pilot & Portofino watches.
4. Working through the school nurse, the Adams County Health Department should be contacted to confirm the identification of the insect as a bed bug. If insects submitted to the ACHD are missing antennae, legs. or body segments, a precise identification often cannot be made. You may destroy other bugs found after submission by placing them in a sealed bag and placing the bag in the trash.
5. If a specimen is found on a student or the student's belongings, remove the specimen as instructed above, but do not send the student home.I thought that diorhandbags 3 billion would be enough to do an experiment, Contact the parents or guardian to inform them of the confirmed bed bug presence on their child. Bremen RB Smith chooses Oklahoma
Bremen senior running David Smith committed to Oklahoma at a press conference at his school on Tuesday.leatherhandbags
Smith, a 6-foot, 195-pound tailback, pulled an Oklahoma baseball cap out of a bag and placed it on his head as he announced his decision before a room filled with family, friends, coaches and media. He also later removed his jacket and displayed a red Oklahoma football t-shirt.
"I'm happy to be a Sooner," Smith said with a smile moments after his decision.
Smith chose Oklahoma over West Virginia, which he said had been his leader until Oklahoma reached out to him on Dec. 23. He visited Oklahoma's campus and met with Sooners coach Bob Stoops last weekend.
Coming from the Chicago area, the warmer weather in Oklahoma was welcomed by Smith, but he also found no faults during his weekend there.
"The hardest part is taking each trip and trying to find out what's real about the schools," Smith said. "You go eat every morning at all these like expensive restaurants and stuff like that. I know once I come there it definitely won't be the case. I tried to find all the real things at each campus. At OU, everything was like perfect."
Bremen coach Dan Stell saw a difference in Smith after Oklahoma came into the picture.sexylingerie
"Watching David go through this process, I think everything seemed to work out for a reason," Stell said. "At one point, he was trying to narrow his search down to five schools. He had a difficult time with that. Once he narrowed it down to five, he took the next step and tried to narrow it down to two schools.
"Sure enough, on Dec. 23 when Oklahoma called, it went from was trying to decide between those two schools, and all of sudden Oklahoma came into the picture. That was a game-changer. At that point, he went from being stressed about the process to extremely excited."
Smith also was attracted to Oklahoma because there could be an early opportunity to play.
"It's actually a pretty good thing going over there as a tailback coming in," Smith said. "It's now me and another guy committed there. We have four tailbacks. I'm ready to compete."
Stell was confident Smith would make an impact on and off the field at Oklahoma.

Gadling Gear Review: The North Face Jammu Jacket
Waterproof winter jackets don't always leave you dry. Sure, they keep the rain, snow and ice out, but they often end up leaving you drenched in your own sweat.guccicaps The breathability of a jacket is almost as important as how impenetrable it is to the elements. Sadly, most coats that try to combine warmth and waterproofing end up sacrificing personal climate control. If you're going to be active throughout the winter, finding a jacket that's comfortable, allows for a full range of motion and keeps you dry and warm is a necessity. That's why I was so eager to try the new Jammu jacket from The North Face.
There are plenty of lightweight hard shell layers that attempt to combine all of these elements and fail miserably. The Jammu features Polartec's NeoShell technology that provides both stretch and warmth with breathability and accomplishes everything far more effectively than most of its competitors.
What struck me immediately with the Jammu is its weight. At less than two pounds, the Jammu is remarkably lightweight and, as such, comfortable. The stretch and give of the fabric makes hiking, snowshoeing and climbing easy. And, unlike other jackets with helmet-compatible hoods, the Jammu and its hood fit properly even if you're wearing nothing on your head.
The breathability - which is noticeable the moment you start working up a sweat on the trail - is exactly what you want from a jacket made for an active winter lifestyle. I wore the Jammu hiking and was impressed that it kept me dry in a light rain while also making sure that I didn't stew inside it.
While incredibly durable and well-made, sadly the Jammu is not as warm as I expected from a Summit Series jacket from The North Face. While it's certainly suitable for engaging in winter sports, it lacks the insulation of other jackets of similar weights. The Polartec NeoShell does a fantastic job of keeping you dry, but it seems to sacrifice some warmth in doing so.
This is not to say that it's not a winter jacket. So long as you're wearing suitable base layers and staying active, the Jammu does what it promises. However, coats once you're off the trail and back in town, it's not quite warm enough to act as your only winter jacket. As with all technical gear, the Jammu is meant to be paired with an active winter wardrobe that allows for layering.
That Jammu is an impressive jacket without a doubt. It keeps you dry, jimmychooreplicahandbags allows sweat to escape, withstands the wind and is incredibly lightweight.pradareplicahandbags The Polartec NeoShell is remarkably effective at keeping water out and making sure that sweat doesn't stay in.replicalvhandbags However, it is unmistakably a technical jacket intended for use with other technical gear to ensure your total comfort.
If you're looking for a jacket that allows you to stay active all winter, the Jammu is a great option and will handle everything that you throw at it. Just be sure to combine it with the appropriate gear so that it can do its job properly.

Milan Fashion Week Menswear: That's a wrap
Given the economic gloom, safe, long-term investments are definitely in fashion. And designers are banking on the overcoat, miumiureplicahandbags which made a big comeback on the Milan runways during menswear fashion week, which has all wrapped up.
A rich, red long overcoat with astrakhan fur lapels modeled by Adrien Brody at Prada earlier in the week was emblematic of the winter look.
Shearling, hardy and multipurpose yet fashionable, is the darling of the season. But there also will be an array of elegant evening coats of such luscious materials as astrakhan and velvet - not only as accents, but as full-fledged outerwear.
Styles ranged from businesslike double-breasted to winter-ready trench coats. There was no end to the detailing, from peacock feathers to military broaches to studs and silk embroidery. Designers also mixed materials, combining leather and tweed, wool and velvet, fur and fabric.
For a more casual look, replicauhrenwatches fashion houses offered hooded duffle coats and pea jackets. There were few sportier styles, although biker jackets, bombers and parkas made cameo appearances.
Overall, the message was conservative. Jackets tended to be short and close to the body, and pants were mostly skinny with some more relaxed looks.
Layering was in, and turtlenecks were substituting for ties even for evening. Knitwear was geometric and floral patterns graced just about any garment.
Total black was the season's favourite tone - perhaps wishful thinking for the balance sheets. Overall the palate was traditional urban, with just sparks of teal, peacock blue, red and purple.
Much of the flash was reserved for accents, like silver details on footwear or shimmery fabric for shirts and jackets.bestvalentinohandbags
If all this was too much austerity, then ostentatious studs glammed up some wardrobes.
Bags were flat, for the work laptop, or roomy, for travel getaways. Velvet slippers were big, contrasting with heavy biker boots. The classic laceup and fringed moccasins were sure bets for the season.
Armani
Leave it to Mr Armani to prove that comfort and elegance can share the same closet.
His menswear winter 2013 collection had all the items a well-turned-out gentlemen needs, and yet was as comfortable as a pair of jeans and a sweat shirt. The secret lies in the materials: knitted wool and stretch fabric. The ample cut of the clothes does the rest.
An iconic double-breasted coat - the number one item on a man's shopping list for next winter - comes in knitted wool. A gray business suit is crafted in super soft stretch fabric and has a short deconstructed jacket and pants with extra wide darts. A velvet tuxedo jacket is worn with a simple silk T-shirt.
On the other side of the coin, Armani takes top-drawer pieces and transfers them into casual wear worthy of fancy dress.
The vest from a three-piece suit gets a zipper and is knitted in Nordic patterns.goodhermesbirkin The same zippered vest returns for eveningwear, this time in monochromatic stretch fabric. A zipper replaces buttons on a silk shirt.
Armani drew inspiration for his winter palette from Alpine scenery: boulder gray, wholesalecanadagooseoutlet bright sky blue, and Dolomite red, the color of the mountains surrounding Cortina d'Ampezzo, one of Italy's most exclusive ski resorts.
Versace
At Versace, the motto for next winter is clearly: Glitter, never enough!
Donatella Versace covered her menswear creations in golden studs, and then sprinkled them with Swarovski crystals.
The collection presented in the covered garden of her Milanese palazzo started off quite button-down: A dark blue pinstriped suit with a baby blue shirt and silver tie. Golden buttons provided the only bling.
But it didn't take long to turn up the heat, with denim outfits covered with large golden rivets, adorned with bright wool collars in green or yellow. The rivets completely covered the denim in one pair of cropped jeans.
Donatella wasn't colour-shy. Two frolicking denim outfits in bright floral print conjured images of 1970s playsuits. A bright red tailored suit was paired with a bright pink turtleneck, a fire-engine red jacket with a green turtleneck.
Then, suddenly, the lights went down, and the glam went up. A sheer black shirt with crystal accents, worn with tuxedo trousers. A leather jacket with crystals on the back, and studs on the arms.
For accessories, a heavy gold chain provides security for oversized leather wallets stuffed in back pockets. Motorcycle boots with gold accents completed the "Don't mess with me!" attitude.
DSquared2
The transgressive designing duo Dean and Dan Caten, opened the last day of the menswear preview collections for next winter with a relatively somber DSquared2 collection-showing the twins are in tune with the tough economic times.
To the rock beat of The Wall by Pink Floyd, the Canadian duo sent out models in tight, low-waisted cropped jeans, worn with a short jacket. By night, the designers offered several outfits with studs or graffiti.
But that was as bad-boy as it got. The rest of the show was devoted to classic styles, the same kind seen on most of the runways throughout the four days of preview showings.
Knitted vests, tweed coats, mohair sweaters and suede jackets all stayed on the safe side, where fashion has retreated for the moment. Ditto for the formal tuxedo suit that closed the show, worn with classy patent-leather boots.

Students honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s message of service
It's a day off from school, but instead of a day at the beach 38 Randall Middle School students have traded textbooks, pencils, and a day off from class for gloves, trash bags, and a day at Lithia Springs Park.
"I'd probably be sitting at home watching TV," says 11-year-old Sam Jennings, a 6th grader.
"That's really disgusting. It's a beer bottle," says one student as they pick up trash through the park's camp ground.
"Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. wanted to make a difference. I thought maybe going out in the environment and picking up trash would make a difference," says Sam.
Madison Dowdy, 14, takes inventory of what's in her trash bag so far. "We've got two water bottles, a tire,Wholesale bestvalentinohandbags for high quality wholesale New ERA Hats products." she says. "It makes me feel people don't care about where they live."
The students are part of Randall's Area Youth Service Council. They find pieces of a fence, toys, tennis balls, and balloons. They spent the morning walking along the Alafia River and filled the back of a pickup truck with trash bags full of litter.
"Picking up trash being out in the environment is actually really good.Intensify your own Grace with goodhermesbirkin. It's really fun," says Sam.
The students are taking Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s message to heart. Christine Torsone, 12, says this federal holiday is more than just a day off from school or work. Use another reusable shopping bag for produce to avoid using the plastic produce bags and use your 'Dairy' bag for only dairy products.
As far as the environmental impact the ban has had on the community, Beulah Mendez-Ramirez, Legal Secretary for the Public Health Department said, "I have seen a reduction in plastic bags in our highways and freeways. I don't see plastic bags flying around our streets and there has been a reduction in litter."

Canterbury United coach livid with red card, loss
Canterbury United were devastated at the dismissal of All White Cole Peverley for an alleged violent conduct offence in a 3-0 defeat to national league leaders Auckland City.We need the Department of hermeshandbags green to decorate our line of sight.
Peverley and Auckland midfielder Luis Corrales were sent off in the 75th minute after a protracted four-minute discussion between referee Peter O'Leary and his assistants at Auckland's Kiwitea St ground on Saturday.
Canterbury coach Keith Braithwaite was livid at the loss of Peverley, who stands to miss the next two matches. His humour was not improved by news captain Dan Terris may miss the rest of the ASB premiership season with an Achilles tendon injury.
Braithwaite described the Peverley-Corrales clash as a classic "handbags at four paces" incident but insisted Peverley was "the victim".
"There was contact on Cole while he was on the ground. Cole jumped up and squared to him but he didn't raise his hands,We invite you to visit our latest collection of goodfendihandbags. although the other lad did.
"I would have understood it if the referee had issued two yellow cards but to get two red cards has got me beat."
Braithwaite said Canterbury were keen to obtain video footage of the match "because we are still at loss to know where Cole was violent" but was not sure if clubs could appeal dismissals other than for cases of mistaken identity.
Most observers were adamant the three-goal margin flattered Auckland and considered Canterbury put up a sterling challenge without four frontline players, including injured All White Aaron Clapham and top scorer George Slefendorfas.
Terris hurt his Achilles early and Auckland exploited the space behind him for Daniel Koprivcic's opening goal in the 17th minute.
Youth team defender Shawn O'Brien made his national league debut as Terris' replacement and Canterbury gave as good as they got for the rest of the first spell, matching Auckland's patient passing game. Darren White was in devastating form down Canterbury's right flank and Yamamoto was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet.
The Dragons were in the game until the hour mark when Koprivcic seized on a poor clearance and set up Spaniard Manel Esposito for Auckland's second goal.
Peverley's early shower forced Braithwaite into another reshuffle with Calvin Operman, a second-half substitute for Yamamoto making way for central midfielder Josh Smith.
Argentine Emiliano Tade grabbed Auckland's third goal with a fierce drive in the 88th minute.
Auckland coach Ramon Tribulietx said it was "very satisfying to beat one of the best teams in the competition this year".

Impressions of Seattle: Thoughts on Microsoft, Amazon and Adobe
Although I'm a tech geek, I haven't actually worked for a tech company yet. My background is in finance, so I figured MIT Sloan's recent Technology Trek to Seattle might be a good way for me to see how – and where – I might fit into the tech world.
Our trek started out on a stereotypical Seattle day with lots of rain. While the weather was expected, I was somewhat surprised to see such a vibrant tech scene in Seattle. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't the entrepreneurial vibe that was apparent at even the biggest of the tech companies we visited: Microsoft.
Our Microsoft visit began with a tour of the “Home of the Future.” We saw how a touch panel would remind you of a houseguest's imminent arrival and ask if you wanted the home programmed for their preferences. The home's technology also could help you decide what to wear, suggesting items in your closet that would match and alert you to the availability of matching shoes on sale at a nearby store. That was actually a little weird, but maybe people in the future are cooler with targeted ads than we are today.
Later,Intensify your own Grace with goodhermesbirkin. we had a conversation with MIT Sloan alumni at Microsoft. They were refreshingly candid about what it's like to work there. Admitting that it can be bureaucratic because it's a large company, they also emphasized how they have the resources to do innovative things that would be cost prohibitive at a startup – like design the Home of the Future.
You have to see Microsoft first-hand to get a sense for how big the facility really is. It's literally like a college campus with building after building. You feel like a college freshman when you arrive without a clue what is going on. Luckily, we had a recruiter take us on a tour so we didn't need a map.
In contrast, Amazon seemed lean and quirky. While they had a bunch of buildings, everything was much closer together and the desks were made entirely out of doors. Why doors? I still have no clue, but maybe it's something I'll learn if I get a job there.
It was also interesting to see how every surface is an actual whiteboard.Live Cycle replicalvhandbags for men and ladies . Even in the elevators and hallways, you can see the equations, business plans, and supply and demand charts filling up the white spaces. While the folks at Microsoft seemed collaborative, the employees at Amazon took sharing to a new level.
Another cool thing at Amazon was how they are their own Guinea pigs. They explained how they are coming out with a new product soon where people who live in apartment buildings in cities like New York will soon be able to utilize a central locker in their neighborhood to securely receive Amazon packages. To test this out, Amazon employees receive their own packages at similar locker locations on its campus. Our monclerouterwear are inspected and confirmed genuine and come with a new watch.
Adobe was the final of three companies we visited where we took the typical tour, visiting places like the weight room, patio and kitchen. Unlike the tech companies in the Silicon Valley where they provide three free meals a day, it was interesting to see that the food at Seattle companies wasn't necessarily free. Maybe that's because the tech community in Seattle isn't as free-wheeling as it is in the Silicon Valley where they will spend money to make you happy and keep you in the office at all hours.High quality replicalvhandbag Product of well known brands .
On the other hand, Seattle seems to have a leg up when it comes to work-life balance. We didn't hear any stories at the Seattle companies about people working until 2:00am writing code, which seems to be a common occurrence in the Silicon Valley.
Getting beyond Adobe's kitchen, I noticed that it was different from Microsoft and Amazon because everyone had an office. There seemed to be a big focus on making sure the environments are enjoyable – there's a lot of exposed brick and wood and they were in the process of building out more common areas around the kitchens.
One thing that stood out was the giant punching bag in the sales team's area.Buy lancelhandbags are becoming popular. Whether it was a fun diversion or stress release, it definitely caught my attention.
During our time in Seattle, we also visited the Boeing factory where we got to see the new Dreamliner aircraft. We also toured the Space Needle and downtown area where we noticed Amazon's grocery delivery trucks everywhere. It's pretty cool how people in Seattle can order groceries from Amazon.
It turns out that Seattle is a happening city where people both live and work downtown. Unlike the Silicon Valley where it's suburbia with office parks, there is a lot happening in this city and it has a surprisingly vibrant tech environment.

15 greatest hats of the world
Hats can tell us a lot about people: what they do for a living, what team they support, what they feel about going bald.
Cultures all over the world have generated an incredible array of headgear, and each boasts outstanding and unique characteristics. But in the interests of generating arguments, it's time to proclaim the finest way to cover your noggin ever.
Read on to discover the headgear to be worn above all others.
15. Beret
It's a key aspect of French culture, meaning it can be magnificent (when worn by Foreign Legionnaires) but also irritating (it's the official hat choice of mimes).
14. Akubra/Aussie bush hat
Not to be confused with its "fashionable" cousin, the cowboy hat, the Akubra is more of an outback tool than a trendy statement.

Today the empire on which the sun never sets is largely limited to a rainy island, meaning there are days it is a kingdom on which the sun fails to shine.
That said, Britain can still be proud of the bowler, which makes a man look sophisticated, practical, and playful all at once and hence works for Charlie Chaplin, Jude Law's Dr. Watson, and Alex from "A Clockwork Orange" in very different ways.
